Are the Akashic Records Scary?
I distinctly remember opening my own akashic records for the first time in 2020 in my little basement space in Queens. I had stumbled upon this word—akashic—and something about it felt like a deep remembering.
There are many translations for the Sanskrit term akash, including, sky, ether, or primary substance. But the one that has felt most resonant recently came through as the space before a sound is made.
The energy around the akash feels like all shall be well . . .
Maybe it’s because the akashic records can be understood as your soul’s massive journey throughout lifetimes—past, present and future—all happening at the same time, that the expansiveness of this behemoth can feel both comforting and daunting at the same time.
What I’ve learned is that, in a reading, what comes through is what you’re meant to know in this now moment. And within the present, there is no judgement, no shame, no why-didn’t-you-xyz.
There is only love.
There is only truth.
And there is a direct connection to the infinite wellspring of possibility that you hold within you.
Can that be scary?
Oh, yes.
Especially, if you’re subconsciously afraid of your own power.
But that is something that can shift.
Just as nature is in constant motion.
You, too, are energetically evolving and expanding.
So it is.
